During the second week of January of this year our company was honored with the visit of the Concordia University Nursing Group.

The group of students formed this year by seven young ladies and escorted by Mrs. Mary L. Koop, completed a week experience in country with inspections to several health facilities around key cities.

The group visited, Hospital Nacional de Niños (Children’s Hospital) one of the best pediatric facilities in Latin America as well as the San Carlos Hospital in Ciudad Quesada about 45 minutes from the Arenal Volcano and the Monseñor Sanabria Hospital in the city of Puntarenas, down in the Central Pacific.

At each location the group, in companion of one of our tour guides, was taken along the facilities on a site inspection while a hospital representative was answering any question that the students would have.

In combination to these inspections, the group also did enjoy the astonish attractions of Costa Rica. This year for instance some of the activities included on the trip were: whitewater rafting, the visit to coffee plantations and a trip to Tortuga Island.

We would like to thank the Nursing School of Concordia University for trusting their valuable students and field program to our company, making of 2010 our seventh year running their agenda in Costa Rica.
